Prep Hoops: Aryanna Watson’s 30 points help Service girls hold off Bartlett 54-48 as youth movement takes center stage

High school freshmen basketball players are typically on the C team, but not at Service. The youth movement has started early on the Hillside.

The school doesn’t have a C team because all the ninth graders are on varsity. And they aren’t just on the team – they are the team.

Led by Aryanna Watson’s 30 points, Service’s freshmen produced all the scoring in Tuesday night’s 54-48 home win over Bartlett in the Cook Inlet Conference.

Watson poured in 17 points in the fourth quarter to help the Cougars spoil a comeback attempt by the Golden Bears, who sliced a nine-point deficit in the final minute down to 50-48 with 12 seconds left.

But Watson sealed the deal as Service earned a split in the regular-season series with the Bears and pulled within one game of second-place Bartlett in the CIC standings.

She hit two free throws with 8 seconds left before intercepting a pass in pick-six fashion near midcourt and converting a layup right before the final buzzer to cap her big night and continue her superb nine-day stretch.

Watson has averaged 31.8 points in her last four games to fuel the team’s three-game winning streak.

Leia Silva added nine points and Rhianna Kochutin scored seven for Service, which outscored the Bears 24-20 in the fourth quarter.

Bartlett senior Avaya Stoute pumped in four 3-pointers and a team-high 19 points, including six points in the final 23 seconds to make things interesting at the end. Her and-1 runner off glass and corner 3 made it 50-48 with 12 seconds left.

Bartlett freshman Sina Maugaotega scored 13 points and senior Yatzary Encarnacion chipped in 11 as the Bears nearly dug themselves out of a nine-point fourth quarter hole.

Credit Bartlett guard Mariya Oliver for orchestrating the comeback bid. Her ballhandling under pressure and decision making kept the offense chugging.

In the first half, neither team could shake the other. The first quarter featured five lead changes and once Service built a 20-14 cushion Barlett got back-to-back 3s by Stoute and Encarnacion to tie the game 20-20.

Watson and Silva combined for 11 of the team’s 13 points in the second quarter. In the close seconds of the first half, Watson made a steal and drilled a corner 3 right before the horn as the Cougars took a 23-30 lead into the break.

Maugaotega, rocking pink kicks, got hot from downtown and buried three straight 3s, the last one tying the game 33-33.

That’s when Watson took over down the stretch, scoring 17 of her team’s final 24 points. She hit 3s, crashed the glass and used her driving game to get to the foul line.

The 5-foot-7 guard forced things a little early, especially on one play when she took on three defenders. But the freshman showed poise at crunch time, making big plays to lift her team to a big win.

Watson has a pure jumper, and many of her field goals barely drew iron. It was also rip city at the free-throw line, where she went 10-for-10.

BARTLETT (48) – Jackson 2, Encarnacion 10, M.Maugaotega 2, Stoute 19, Oliver 4, S.Maugaotega 13.

SERVICE (54) – Silva 9, Watson 30, Lealaisalanos 5, Kochutin 7, Leniu 3.

Bartlett 9 11 8 20 – 48
Service 10 13 7 24 – 54

It will also be available to pre-order to own on iTunes, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube Movies, Vudu, Vimeo OnDemand and OnDemand Korea shortly.

Directed by Kim Sung-su and with a Korean gross exceeding $90 million, the action drama is based on true events in December 1979, which resulted in an eight-year military junta in South Korea.

The film stars Hwang Jung-min (“Deliver Us from Evil”), Jung Woo-sung (“Asura: The City of Madness”), Lee Sung-min (“The Spy Gone North”), Park Hae-joon (“Believer”), Kang Gil-woo (Netflix series “The Glory”), and Jung Hae-in (Netflix’s “D.P.”).

The documentary highlights the importance of preserving the tattoo culture for future generations and the challenges faced by the community in doing so. It also delves into the issues of stolen mummified bodies, cultural appropriation, stigmatization, and discrimination faced by tattooed individuals.

Arizona ‘1 of few teams’ that can win NCAA Tournament

After stealing one from rival Arizona at the McKale Center in dramatic fashion last year, the Arizona State Sun Devils men’s basketball team couldn’t replicate that same success in a lopsided 105-60 loss to Tommy Lloyd’s squad on Saturday.

Entering the matchup, ASU head coach Bobby Hurley already felt the Wildcats were a Final Four-caliber team. After seeing them in person, that thinking was solidified even more.

“They’re a very explosive team. I’ve watched a lot of college games, I watch my brother’s team quite a bit. I think Arizona is one of a few teams in my opinion that can win the whole thing right now,” Hurley told Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta on Tuesday. “Seeing them live, they have (Oumar Ballo) around the basket and is so dominant. Caleb Love is hitting contested 25-footers.

“I wouldn’t say they were out for revenge,” the head coach added. “I would say they’re very good and have been able to do that to a few teams this year in our league in some league games, especially at McKale Center.”

With Arizona’s win over ASU, the Wildcats now sit 11-3 in conference play and 20-5 overall. They currently hold the top spot in the Pac-12 with a 0.5-game lead over the Washington State Cougars (11-4, 20-6) and are the No. 4 ranked team in the Associated Press top 25 poll.

Leading the way for Arizona has been Love, who is averaging 18.8 points on 43.4% shooting and 35.2% from deep, five rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game.

Ballo meanwhile continues to be a force down low behind 12 points, 9.8 rebounds, and one assist per game.

But regardless of how much firepower the Wildcats possess, the Sun Devils’ showing in Tucson was unacceptable to Hurley.

So instead of taking Sunday off as is typical for Hurley and Co. after a Saturday game, the team was back in the film room along with getting their conditioning right again the very next day.

“It’s hard to stop everything that they do, but you can’t hurt yourself, especially on the road and we unfortunately had some untimely turnovers in the first half,” Hurley said. “A game that should have been a lot closer at the half ended up being 18 points at the half. We dug a big hole for ourselves in like the last six minutes of the first half.”

“It’s painful,” the head coach added of losing to Arizona. “It’s something I take very personally after doing this now my ninth year. I understand what the rivalry feels like, what it means to both fanbases and how important that game is so to not perform the way we necessarily have to, I have to take all the bullets for that. I have to do a better job making sure we’re more competitive in a game like Arizona.”

The second game of the season between ASU and Arizona takes place at Desert Financial Arena Feb. 28.

In the contemporary business landscape, sustainability and environmental responsibility have become paramount. Companies across various sectors are seeking ways to minimize their ecological footprint, and one area that offers significant room for improvement is pest management. Traditional methods, often reliant on chemicals, pose risks to the environment, wildlife, and human health.

Here, eco-friendly pest management solutions come into play, promising efficacy without compromising the planet’s well-being. A prime example of this innovative approach can be found with services specializing in pest control north shore, where environmentally sustainable practices are at the forefront of their operations.

The Rising Demand for Green Pest Control

Green Pest Control

As concern for environmental issues expands, so does the need for natural pest control answers. Contemporary companies, guided by both moral contemplations and client desires, are proactively searching for bug administration techniques that coordinate with their maintainability objectives. This change isn’t simply about following guidelines; it’s about contributing to a more advantageous home planet and ensuring a focused advantage in a continuously natural cognizant commercial center.

At the same time, more gatherings acknowledge the requirement for maintainable arrangements, and some continue searching for choices that cause least disturbance to delicate biological systems. The quest for a harmony between successful protection and regard for the earth remains a test, however advancing advances and learning exchange give trust that feasible answers for all sides can be discovered.

Innovative Strategies in Eco-Friendly Pest Management

Eco-Friendly Pest Management

Eco-friendly pest management takes a more comprehensive strategy than just swapping out man-made pesticides for natural options. It incorporates a holistic viewpoint, concentrating on avoidance, instruction, and employing non-poisonous techniques. These approaches are intended to be robust against irritations while guaranteeing the wellbeing of laborers, clients, and the earth. Rather than solely depending on treatments, natural pest administration spotlights on evacuating pest food, water, and hiding spots, keeping up solid development conditions, and building up a biological community that typically controls pest populaces.

Educational efforts are additionally pivotal, educating clients and representatives about natural strategies for anticipation like tidy up, tidy up, and bother deterrents. On the off chance that pests do show up in any case, milder non-synthetic alternatives might be utilized, for example, baits, catches, or natural pesticides.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a cornerstone approach to pest control that emphasizes eco-friendliness. It relies on a deep understanding of pests and how they relate to their environment. IPM involves accurately identifying pest types, monitoring their populations and behaviors, utilizing physical and biological control methods, and reserving chemical methods as an absolute last resort with minimal environmental impact. The strategy centers on long-term prevention and management to lessen reliance on pesticides.

IPM offers a comprehensive framework for assessing the ecological factors contributing to pest prevalence. Focusing on pests’ life cycles and their interaction with the environment enables businesses to implement more effective and sustainable pest control measures. The process begins with a thorough inspection to identify the specific pests and assess the level of infestation. This initial step is critical for tailoring the IPM strategy to the unique needs of each situation.

Following identification, IPM strategies employ methods tailored to the specific ecosystem and pest dynamics. Cultural controls, such as altering the environment to make it less attractive to pests, play a significant role. This can include practices like proper waste management, structural maintenance to eliminate entry points, and landscape changes to reduce pest breeding grounds.

Mechanical and physical controls are another aspect of IPM, targeting the physical removal or exclusion of pests. These methods can range from traps and barriers to temperature modifications that are inhospitable to pests. Such approaches are designed to address pests without chemical interventions directly.

The Benefits of Eco-Friendly Pest Control for Businesses

Pest Control for Businesses

While adopting green pest management practices provides numerous ecological advantages for companies, these methods can also enhance operational efficiency and strengthen their reputation. Transitioning to more sustainable approaches offers benefits beyond reducing environmental impact – it allows businesses to streamline processes and cut costs.

For instance, using natural and non-toxic alternatives to synthetic pesticides reduces the need for protective equipment and lowers risks to employee health and safety. What’s more, focusing on prevention over reliance on chemical interventions necessitates less frequent treatments.

  • Reducing reliance on toxic chemicals through eco-friendly pest control creates a safer surrounding for workers and visitors. Limiting contact with pesticides lessens the likelihood of wellbeing problems, consequently adding to a more beneficial work environment. Eco-friendly techniques for controlling pests guarantee lower dangers to individuals’ prosperity from poisons generally utilized as a part of more conventional strategies. This decreases potential wellbeing results like minor skin or respiratory issues. In this way, natural pest administration supports a solid condition inside workplaces and organizations through decreased presentation to synthetic concoctions frequently found in customary pesticides.
  • Implementing eco-friendly pest control methods can help businesses adhere to regulations surrounding chemical pesticides while lowering expenses. Many localities have stringent laws governing pesticide application that aim to protect human health and the environment. Rather than risk penalties from failing to follow these rules or spend money on synthetic products, companies can opt for natural alternatives like removing food and water sources that attract unwelcome insects. Green strategies provide compliance with statutes in a cost-effective manner without compromising on quality pest control.
  • Companies that emphasize sustainability in how they function, like utilizing eco-friendly pest management techniques, can significantly improve how they are viewed. Demonstrating a dedication to being environmentally conscious can attract customers who value similar priorities and set a company apart from others in its industry. By focusing on utilizing natural or organic methods to address any pest issues and minimizing chemical usage, a business communicates that protecting the environment is essential to their operations. This can help build goodwill within communities and reinforce a brand’s values of responsibility.

eco-friendly pest management solutions

The transition towards eco-friendly pest management solutions reflects a broader shift in the business world towards sustainability and environmental stewardship. By embracing innovative, non-toxic pest control methods, companies contribute to the preservation of the planet and enhance their operational efficiency and brand reputation. The journey toward sustainable pest management is ongoing, requiring continuous education, adaptation, and commitment.

However, the benefits—from improved health and safety to regulatory compliance and cost savings—make it a worthwhile investment for modern businesses. In this endeavor, services like those offered for pest control on the north shore are exemplary models, showcasing how companies can effectively manage pest issues while upholding their environmental responsibilities. As we move forward, it’s clear that the future of pest management lies in sustainable practices that harmonize business needs with the health of our planet.

Prep Hoops: East boys unanimous No. 1, MCCA strengthens grip as top-ranked girls squad in ASR/Class 4A Coaches Poll

Alaska Class 4A boys basketball coaches are in agreement East is the best team, but East coach Chuck Martin hopes to convince his players that whoever the T-birds take on is the best team.

“It’s still early,” Martin said.

In other words, rankings don’t guarantee success so don’t get cocky.

With the postseason on the horizon, Martin wants the T-birds to buckle up for the stretch run, but ironically, they’ve been the ones who’ve taken the rest of the state on a ride this season.

The defending state champions are 19-1 and have won 10 in a row. They’ve also won 21 straight against Alaska competition dating back to last year’s Cook Inlet Conference Championships.

“East continues to play well and consistently against top conference opponents,” said Dimond coach Krehg Perez. “They are the only undefeated high school program in Alaska.”

East received all 14 first-place votes in the Alaska Sports Report/Class 4A Basketball Coaches Poll to earn its second straight unanimous No. 1 ranking.

Alaska Sports Report/Class 4A Boys Coaches Poll

1 East Anchorage (19-1) 70
2 West Valley (14-3) 46
3 West Anchorage (13-6) 41
4 Service (15-7) 36
5 Monroe Catholic (14-5) 8

ALSO RECEIVING VOTES: Colony 4; Thunder Mountain 2; Juneau-Douglas 2; Bartlett 2; Dimond 1.

The T-birds looked the part last week, going 3-0 with wins over West, Soldotna and South by an average of 29 points.

“East Anchorage continues to dominate the competition,” said Service coach Jocquis Sconiers.

The poll’s top spot didn’t change, but much of the top 5 did as West Valley moved up two spots to No. 2, West Anchorage moved up a spot to No. 3 and Service dropped two spots to No. 4. Monroe Catholic stayed at No. 5.

Coaches ranked teams on several factors, they said, including head-to-head competition, road wins and strength of schedule.

Mountain City Christian Academy coach Brad Lauwers has his own method. You’ve heard of the WPI, well he uses the PPI.

“The Personal Power Index,” Lauwers quipped.

The CIC features three ranked teams while another two teams also received votes. East sits atop the standings at 10-0 while the next four teams are separated by a single game, meaning one loss could be the difference between second and fifth.

“The CIC is a blood bath every night,” Sconiers said.

West beat Service 63-58 in OT last week to take sole possession of second in the CIC at 7-3, one game ahead of Service, Dimond and Bartlett.

West (13-6) has gone to OT against No. 4 Service, No. 1 East and No. 2 West Valley this season.

Bartlett coach Steve Drussell believes the CIC is the state’s toughest conference and pointed to his team as an example. The Golden Bears are 10-9 overall, with two losses against ranked teams in the CIC and three against Lower 48 competition.

“If we wanted to base (the poll) on overall records, 4A schools should schedule more 1A and 2A games – which some programs do – and others try to schedule the toughest schedule possible to prepare them for their conference play,” he said. “Difference philosophies.”

Second-ranked West Valley (14-3) beat No. 5 Monroe Catholic 53-25 in its only game of the week.

“They are really long,” West coach Josh Muehlenkamp said of the Wolfpack. “They defend well and control the pace of the game. They use their size to their advantage and are going to be a hard matchup for anybody.”

The Wolfpack are 6-2 in their last eight games, with one of those losses coming to Monroe a week earlier in the Mid-Alaska Conference clash.

The Rams (14-5) splitting with West Valley went a long way with Perez.

“That shows they can be a contender against teams that have been successful against the other top teams in the state,” he said. “Top teams seem to be evenly matched this year, showing anyone can win on any given night.”

Alaska Sports Report/Class 4A Girls Coaches Poll

1 MCCA (16-1) 63
2 Colony (20-2) 51
3 Wasilla (13-4) 42
4 Dimond (17-5) 19
5 Thunder Mountain (15-3) 17

ALSO RECEIVING VOTES: Bartlett 3; West Valley 2; Service 2.

On the girls side, Mountain City Chrisian garnered 11 of 13 first-place votes to take the No. 1 ranking with 63 points, a dozen more than No. 2 Colony. That differential was nine points a week ago.

Third-ranked Wasilla got the other two first-place votes as the top three teams in the poll stayed the same. The only change saw Dimond and Thunder Mountain flip.

When you look at the poll and see three Northern Lights Conference teams sitting 1-2-3, you gotta give the league its flowers as the best in the state. And it’s not that close.

“All of them have the potential to look like the best team in the state on any given night,” said Bartlett coach Darian Lawson. “It is really difficult to say who is the top team between those three teams.”

Mountain City Christian’s Morgan Maldonado drives on West’s Tonya Karpow. Photo by Bryan Boyett/Alaska Sports Report

Colony lost to MCCA but beat Wasilla, which knocked off MCCA. Oh, the conference tournament is going to be lit.

Right now, though, Colony coach Chandice Cronk sees the two-time defending 4A state champion MCCA Lions as the team to beat.

“I have picked MCCA first because at the end of the day they have beaten us twice,” she said. “They are a legit team with lots of threats. We are constantly preparing in practice and games for our next matchup with them.”

MCCA (16-1) has rattled off six consecutive wins after suffering a loss to Wasilla last month that snapped a six-year winning streak against in-state competition.

That impressed Service coach Harvey Watson.

“Mountain City earned my first-place vote due to their bounce back,” he said. “Winning the Grace tournament and winning their conference games.”

South coach Larry Wilson agreed but added the Knights to the mix.

“MCCA has been consistent and tough to beat in the toughest conference in Alaska,” he said. “Colony can claim the same.”

The Knights (20-2) proved that last weekend after sweeping one-loss Thunder Mountain in a two-game series to push their winning streak to 11 games.

Wasilla (13-4) swept Kodiak on ‘The Rock’ to move to 10-1 in its last 11 games.

Meanwhile, Dimond (17-5) has won five straight and sits atop the CIC standings by a half-game over Bartlett, which lost 55-29 to the Lynx last week.

“Dimond is a team to look out for,” Cronk said.

Don’t sleep on Thunder Mountain, Wilson said. The Falcons from the capital city have 6-foot twins who are being recruited by UAA.

“Thunder Mountain has a solid core and could beat anyone any day,” Wilson said.

Diamondbacks still exploring TV options for 2024

The Arizona Diamondbacks are still looking for a television partner to broadcast their games in 2024 after Diamond Sports Group, the parent company of Bally Sports Arizona, declared bankruptcy in March 2023.

President and CEO Derrick Hall said Monday that while there is nothing new to announce, the D-backs are still talking to Major League Baseball and would like to have a decision in place “by the end of this week” as the team’s first spring training game is on Friday.

“We are still talking to those interested, other parties where we can look at options and we have considered over-the-air,” Hall said. “We have looked at the possibility of a hybrid, if that would work.”

Hall continued and said while MLB producing the games is also on the table, the team is still mulling other options.

“We know we can go on MLB today if we decide to, and they’ve been very patient, we’ve told them we’re continuing to explore other options, and they know we have other options and offers on the table,” Hall said, “So again, we’re just trying to hammer down what it would look like if we’re on MLB, versus one of those other options, or if there’s a way to do both. I think we’ll have an announcement very soon.”

Last year, Diamond Sports Group defaulted on a $30.8 million rights payment to the D-backs. As a result, MLB had to step-in and produce the D-backs’ broadcasts starting on July 18.

If the D-backs fail to reach an agreement with an external broadcast partner, a similar arrangement to last season is likely, where local fans would be able to watch with an subscription with an in-market package for a monthly or yearly fee. For example, the San Diego Padres offer a package for $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the entire season.

Fans who aren’t located in Arizona, New Mexico or Utah would still be able to watch the D-backs with a regular subscription.

“The net important thing for a Diamondbacks fan is ‘Am I going to get to watch my favorite team on television?’ yes, you are,” managing partner Ken Kendrick said.

Hall said the D-backs have also talked to the Phoenix Suns and are looking into a future television partnership.

“I hope we can (partner with the Suns),” Hall said. “We’re starting to have more and more conversations about partnerships with the Suns and the relationships have been great. So I can envision something down the road where we can do something together too.”

After the Suns broke away from Bally Sports last year, owner Mat Ishbia opted to provide free over-the-air access to Suns games.

“The challenges on our side of the table, the economics of what the revenue streams that the television will create for us, which is not an insignificant part of our revenue,” Kendrick said. “And there are multiple options and we’re continuing to work them.”

Ishbia decided that the short-term loss of revenue from going with over-the-air broadcasts was worth it in the long run as it allowed more fans to tune-in. The Suns sent thousands of free antennas to fans across the Valley.

“The most important thing for a fan is are games going to be available on TV like they have been, and the answer is absolutely,” Kendrick said. “It’s not whether they will be, it’s what the delivery mechanism behind the scenes will be and whom it will be with. We moved within the season last year to a change, and I think if you’re a fan of the Diamondbacks it was pretty seamless. And what we end up doing this year I think will be the same for the fans.”

Retail Technologies That Improve Customer Experience – About World News

In today’s hyper-connected landscape, having a smooth shopping experience is key. Whether browsing online or visiting physical stores, customers want a hassle-free experience at all times. Understanding the individual expectations that people have for virtual and in-store interactions can guide businesses in making strategic technology choices.

Bridging the Online-Offline Divide

For people who shop online, convenience and efficiency are paramount. They demand intuitive interfaces, personalized recommendations and seamless transactions. Throughout the customer’s journey, time is of the essence – from item selection to payment. Enhanced by smart search filters and mobile-friendly sites, this constantly takes on new meaning.

At the same time, in-store shoppers look for encounters which are pleasant and innovative. They need so-called ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ staff, interactive displays, and the kind of rich sensory environment that encourages exploration and discovery. How does one bridge that gap between expectations and reality, and unify the efficiency of online shopping with the immersive experience of in-store visits, shaping a brand experience which remains consistent across all touchpoints?

AI Tech Trends Revolutionizing Retail

AI Tech

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a game-changer for modern retail. Here are four key trends reshaping the customer journey:

  • Conversational AI: NLP-powered chatbots and voice assistants available online round the clock offer customized product choices and personalized answers to questions. This means that they are available 24/7 and provide answers to both questions about their products as well as making personalized recommendations. Suppose a consumer is looking for the perfect winter coat. An AI-assisted virtual stylist can study their purchasing history and preferences to provide some appropriate styles at either end of the price range recommended for them in terms of taste and individual needs.
  • Personalization Engines: Deep learning models are used to mine customer data and tailor ultra-personal experiences. Everything from targeted promotions to a flexible website layout is done by AI. Given that A loyal customer visiting the website is personally greeted with their favorite brands and preferences.
  • Smart Analytics and Feedback: AI analyzes customer behavior through website clicks, in-store foot traffic patterns, and social media mentions. This data goldmine reveals valuable insights into preferences, pain points, and purchase triggers. Imagine pinpointing areas with high product abandonment rates online or identifying understocked shelves in-store, all thanks to AI-powered analytics.
  • Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR): There is less distinction between the actual and virtual worlds thanks to these immersive technologies. Customers may use augmented reality apps to digitally try on clothing or see how furniture will look in their homes before buying it. To create an emotional connection with the brand and encourage customer loyalty, virtual reality (VR) experiences take users to the product’s beginnings or provide rare behind-the-scenes looks.

AI-Powered Customer Service

Nowadays, that age of automated impersonal customer service is over. NLP chatbots are equipped with natural-language processing; they can handle simple questions on their own to enable human operators to focus time and effort on more difficult or demanding problems.

Natural Language Processing (NLP) chatbots can resolve simple problems for you, so that human operators handle more complex issues. However, an era has dawned in which they are backed by real-time sentiment analysis algorithms. This allows any change in user mood or dropping satisfaction to be detected, and interventions—whether proactive or reactive made on behalf of customers.

AI-Enhanced Feedback Collection Terminals

The AI-driven feedback terminals can not only gather valuable customer sentiment in real-time but also deliver essential demographic insights. By harnessing this data, merchants can swiftly resolve issues and adjust their store layout and product offerings to match the preferences of their key customer segments.

5 Reasons to Embrace AI in Retail

Embrace AI in Retail
  • Boosted Customer Satisfaction: AI makes consumers happier and more loyal by tailoring their experiences, streamlining their interactions, and proactively addressing their problems.
  • Enhanced Operational Efficiency: AI automates tasks, analyzes data for better decision-making, and optimizes inventory management, resulting in cost savings and improved resource allocation.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Retailers may now personalize their goods and marketing campaigns to make the most of their customers’ preferences, pain areas, and buying habits thanks to AI-unlocked valuable consumer data.
  • Competitive Advantage: By embracing AI, retailers differentiate themselves from the competition, offering cutting-edge experiences that attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Future-Proofing the Business: Investing in AI signifies a commitment to innovation and preparedness for the ever-evolving retail landscape, ensuring long-term success and relevance.

The Price of Unhappy Customers

In today’s digital age, the risk of lost revenue and damaged reputation is higher than ever. The easier it is to comment, the more negative feedback – unjust or not – can rapidly spread online. This is why it’s imperative for retailers to advance customer satisfaction, leveraging the latest retail yechnologies as tools to look ahead instead of just putting out fires. Only this way can they forestall troubles in their infancy and protect the integrity of their brands.

Why You Can’t Afford to Sit Back

Having products is insufficient in today’s competitive economy. People are on the lookout for tales and experiences that leave an impression. In this regard, artificial intelligence really excels, providing a variety of tools for tailoring interactions and, more importantly, creating inimitable emotional bonds between your company and its consumers. You can take control of the story and design a customer journey with AI that goes above and beyond to win over new fans and keep them as loyal customers.

Using AI as Your CX Crystal Ball

Using AI as Your CX Crystal Ball

The transformative power of AI in retail lies in its ability to replace intuition and speculation with precise, data-driven decision-making. By harnessing real-time insights into customer sentiment and behavior, AI enables a proactive approach to customer engagement, setting a new standard for competitive advantage in the retail sector.

Furthermore, AI’s ability to analyze information can offer valuable insights into the success of marketing campaigns, store designs, and customer-loyalty programs. For instance, with AI-guided A/B testing on websites or targeting of special promotions in light of the results obtained, optimization would be based on data, so that every touchpoint was of benefit to the customer and conversion rates were heightened. AI –driven insights thereby guarantee that your CX mechanisms remain dynamic and flexible rather than being relegated to the strategy on paper: a model of constant improvement.

The future of retail lies in leveraging AI not to replace human talent but to augment it, enabling employees to excel in their work. AI serves as a tireless assistant that enhances efficiency, allowing the workforce to focus on what truly matters: building genuine connections with customers. By providing personalized recommendations and streamlining administrative tasks, AI empowers employees to deliver excellent service. This, in turn, fosters customers’ trust and brand loyalty.

At the end of the day, all AI in retail will do is put the customer at the center of your strategy. It means meeting their wants and exceeding their expectations, providing experiences that continue to resonate after they’ve left your store – whether virtual or physical. As you embrace AI and its ability to transform, you open the door to a future where customer satisfaction is not just a goal but the very foundation of success in retail.
