There are many receivers who can legitimately claim to be the best in the NFL. However, no one is hotter than CeeDee Lamb of the Dallas Cowboys.
And according to Lamb, no one is better than Lamb.
Lamb is in a pretty ridiculous phase. In Dallas’ last four games, Lamb had 117, 158, 191 yards and 173 yards in Sunday’s win over the New York Giants.
When you put up numbers like that you can pretty much say whatever you want, and Lamb had an Ali-like address to the rest of the league.
“I’m the best receiver in the game,” Lamb said. via LoneStarLive.com. “That is beyond question. And if yes? We’ll see you again next week.”
That’s sharp, but perhaps not wrong.
Lamb is so good on the move, he catches passes that are intended for the sideline. Dak Prescott was spotted by Fox cameras sticking his tongue out after completing a pass off his back foot to Lamb, and he admitted he tried to throw it away. Lamb wouldn’t allow that.

There are plenty of candidates to be the NFL’s best receiver, most notably Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown and Justin Jefferson when healthy.
However, Lamb has no doubt that he is the answer. Given how he’s been playing for the Cowboys lately, he might be right.
